I feel this product has changed to become more cumbersome and harder to use. Some specific items do not help with what information to enter and the help features (including AI) only refer to IRS publications (which are very hard to read & understand).
There should be more help with college saving accounts (like 529's), Social security, Roth IRA's, to name a few.
I feel the program was easier to use in the past.
I have used this program for over 15 years.

Took several days and several HOURS on the phone with approximately 5 different agents trying to download the software to my computer. I was advised to buy another computer even though I have over 10 years of HRBlock tax software on my computer. Finally gave up and downloaded it to my wife's computer and was able to efile my taxes.
It looks like I will be trying something different next year after over 20 years with HRBlock. My windows 10 computer seems to be ok for everything except for HRBlock software, so if I want to maintain my tax history on one computer, HRBlock is forcing me to go to a different software. Sorry for that because the ease of downloading and using for over 20 years has been great.

H&R Deluxe 2025 enabled me to do what was a more complicated return than in previous years. I rated it only Good because the process of filing Form 2210 was not user friendly. This was especially true for the inability to enter earnings data for multiple months of the year; providing only for 4 periods, when there are 12 periods per year. This is my second submission of this survey.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
