Since the tax software came on a disk, I have only used H and R Block software after years of doing my taxes by hand. I majored in finance. It is the simplest and easiest way to get your taxes done. They walk you through the process step by step. Submit them and even notify you that they wwre accepted. It is the most accurate and quickest way to file.

For the first time in many years of using H&R Block's product, I had an issue with a K-1 that I could not file my return without a software update that was not coming. Because I purchased my software through a third party, I could not get a refund for the software. I may have to switch to Turbo Tax next year after 20+ years of using Tax Cut and the follow on H&R Block's product.

The software is easy to use and thorough. I am disappointed because the explanations of how to fix items that come up during the accuracy reviews are sometimes inadequate. I got a data error that I had to fix before I could efile my federal return, and I could not figure out how to fix it. It was difficult to find a live person to ask about it, and when I did she said she couldn't help because she was not a tax expert. The message had to do with needing a valid copy of a worksheet which has nothing to do with taxes. It was extremely frustrating and not customer friendly.
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
