An update fixing the problem would have been nice

I have used this program for years. I was very disappointed that a known problem was allowed to remain and not fixed in any update or revealed to users. The link to upload 1099-DIVs was incorrect and therefore did not work. I found out the workaround from another user during an internet search after wasting two days. The link had letters and numbers at the beginning that needed to be edited out.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find the fees for buying and submitting state taxes very expensive, especially for very low income tax returns.
Also, my federal return was rejected and it should have been caught by your program. Firm 5695 part b, if an and b are no, then address should be blank. A and b were no, address was filled in and that caused it to be rejected. Your program should have caught this.

The double negatives that you use to ask questions should be made simpler to answer. Not necessary.

Lost Confidence in H&R Block Due to Filing Errors

I’ve used H&R Block tax software for decades and always trusted its accuracy, but this year’s experience was unacceptable.
The software failed to inform me about the SLCSP health insurance premium calculator, which is critical since the 1095-A often lists zero in that field and requires manual adjustment. Because of this, I owed taxes last year when I should have received a refund.
I had to file an amended return to fix the issue, and the software would not allow me to e-file it, even though the IRS permits electronic filing of amendments. This created unnecessary time and frustration to correct a problem the software should have helped prevent.
Additionally, the software did not prompt me to remove tips from my gig income until a late-season update, causing further confusion and rework.
Due to these issues, I’ve lost confidence in the product and will be using TaxSlayer going forward.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does not work with my Chromebook and I think it should be made compatible for Chromebook as well. Also if I use my phone hotspot to update or send my completed return or even register it will not allow it even though I can update every other program that I have and watch TV or whatever. Very UNuser friendly.
