My 2024 and 2025 taxes were rejected. I filed in time but still had to mail the printed forms in. There is no contact number for an agent to get help in real time
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was unable to input the info of my 1095 form onto my 8962 form. Overriding the form disqualified my taxes from being sent through e-file.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this for several years now, only once reverting to my previous tax filing program. This year all the tax law charges that were jammed through Congress made the process more confusing and unclear that it needed to be.
Cons: Time consuming

We’re so happy to hear you had a good experience. We appreciate your business and thank you for the valuable feedback!
I've generally liked the H&R Block Tax software. However, I find I've been living with a few things in recent years that deserve feedback: 1. answering a question, e.g. "am i contributing to an IRA this year?," providing a yes & a $$ amount, then changing my mind and deselecting, invariably requires me to go into the raw form and remove the $$. 2. same for self/spouse HSAs and the max totals available, and the divvying between them that can occur 2a. no consideration was provided in the interview/questions for 'additional HSA contributions b/c 55yr+' 3. the UI itself - feels dated. Like Quicken, feels like no investment is being made into generally improving the experience 4. several [i] icons suggesting "more information is available" yielded nothing when clicked 5. context around numerous questions is lacking - I'd like to know, "how should I consider answering this," - there's generally plenty of whitespace to add more of the "why"
Pros: Easy to import documents
