Still good

I switched to H&R about five years ago and have no regrets. I formally used Turbo Tax which became cumbersome and more costly. No regrets at all about switching. Some things could be a little clearer, but I suspect it has to do with the ever changing tax system.
Pros: Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import

Two programming functions need work.

1. Not programmed to print on two sides properly. (Printed federal on two sides fine, but mixed up second sides when printing state.) 2. Not programmed to fix issues found in audit properly. (Something triggered a suggestion to check a certain field on three forms. I checked that field on the three forms. Proper data was entered. Whatever triggered the suggestion should also trigger a link to go straight to the questionable field.)

Problem sending e file for Federal return

It took me four attempts to successfully send in my Federal return. No explanation was given for the failure. Finally six hours after the first attempt it successfully was sent to IRS.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
