Easy to follow from year to year. Covers all I need for reporting. It doesn't lower my taxes, but it insures I'm paying the correct amount and lowest amount.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Reliable and easy to input. After years of use I have seen the program offer less "hands on" visibility of the input process and more "automatic' production of output in each area. I STILL like the program but I wish it was easier to see how decisions were reached. A criticism is that there are added charges and fees [e.g. e-filing of states] that could be clearer up front. Why not email me a total of all rhe tax-preparation charges after final acceptance so I can enter that deductible item to next year's submission?

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Been using H&R tax software for many yrs, generally all good, some glitches over yrs but got job done. This yr tried to use free efile to send fed extension in but was unable. After about two hrs on phone, finally was told free efile did not include filing extensions. Fo e understand that.

I used the product for my taxes. It was easy to use although I suspect I could have had a much larger refund with an accountant.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
