Disappointed

Yesterday I thought completed my taxes. Both Federal and state performed an accuracy test with a congratulations upon a correction. The federal tax efiled fine, however upon attempting the state it displayed a window saying errors still existed(from my federal return 1099 entries). I checked and everything was accurate with no apparent errors. I tried to correct by reentry of the same data and got a message that I needed to print the state and send in. So is there an error that I do not see that I’m sending in, which could cause a problem I don’t want to deal with.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy as PIE!!

I've been using TaxCut for decades both when I was a real estate and stock market investor and when I just had earned income and didn't need to itemize. The process is so fast and simple. I don't know why anyone would not use TaxCut. It does it all!!

I bought this program today and was ready to file my taxes in 30 minutes. Love this program!! It imports all of my previous year tax information, which saves me lots of time.

Rejected filing due to erroneous AGI

Two years in a row filing rejected due to wrong AGI inserted by the software. The dollar amount is slight and override instructions not apparent until after rejection. Soooo annoying!
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues

Great except for royalties handling

I’ve used this s/w for several yrs and I have the same issue every year. We have royalties to report and it always gives me problems. After I enter the royalty amount it goes on to another screen where it shows the amount as zero. It says the block one amount is 0. Block one is for rent. I don’t have rent, I have royalties from block 2. Frustrating!

Cons: Hard to fix issues
