I've been using the Deluxe version for years and am happy with most aspects of it. It's pretty easy to use and since I have years of data, it can fill in many of the forms with previous years' information. I do wish it wasn't necessary to spend money to do my state income tax filing. I'm not sure if that's a Block thing or a state thing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I liked absolutely everything about the software except one thing: I ran into challenges dowloading the state software when I finished doing my federal return (for some reason, I had trouble with connecting). Would be great if we were able to download both at the same time at the beginning.

You do a good job for the Federal return, however you fall down when programing the state of Colorado.
When I made an error on the federal return, I received an email stating how to correct it. It worked. However, the state was rejected and I have no idea what the problem was. I had to go to the state and fill out the return using the state's software with the same numbers from the Block software and it was accepted!
