Overall, the software is good. It handles complex tax forms normally done by hand. It also makes submitting and receiving feedback on the submission easy and quick. Two main issues I had were an problem with dependent changes not flowing downstream or being transferred to state, with very poor error reporting to find them. It required me to redo the entire return to fix. The second issue is not an "issue", per-se, but the AI appears to be a marketing gimmick added to say they have it. However, it's useless. It can't perform even simple search operations to find forms in the software, let alone answer any type of questions about errors, issues, or recommendations.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I like the ability to e-file. I created an Excel spreadsheet to track tax requirements throughout the year and check my workbook against Block's software. Changes to Schedule D were noticed through the Block software.

Works pretty well. Should have more guidance for home loan and property tax deductions. I almost missed the property tax. Some totally obscure things have more information than one of the most common in the country.

The 'in app' cost seems like a money grab, after the application checks for accurancy, the resulting issues are clumsy and lack direction for the user sending them to the 'Google sphere' for help hoping others had similar issues.
