Very disappointed that the federal did not carry federal interest to the Indiana state return and I had to file the state manually. I pointed out the problem weeks before the deadline but it never got fixed.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Not Offer Important Hawaii State Tax Form

I have used H&R Block tax software for 20+ yrs and it performs very well. However when I use their State software for Hawaii, their is no electronic form for Hawaii form N-210, Underpayment of Estimated Tax. Because of this I must do manual calculations for this form and print it out. Also, I cannot file my State taxes electronically and must mail in my State forms, which is frustrating.
Turbo Tax does offer the Hawaii State for N-210 form, so after 20+ years I will be switching to Turbo Tax, and I would advise any other Hawaii residents to use Turbo Tax.

Paying by credit card to the fed was confusing. I paid by credit to file to state and understood that. Paying by credit card to the fed should immediately take you to the site. Why do I need a nickname to submit this

this software wouldn't work with LPL or Tradeestation. The big competitor does. It makes entering data very complicated for things like stock options. I will have to switch teams next year because of this. The interview process is easier that the competitor, so if my taxes were simpler I would stick with H&R.
