For the most part H&R Block is simple to use and walks you through the appropriate questions for your situation. We have a lot of investments and it takes care of them easily and correctly. We use H&R Block because of issues with another software program. It does well on importing from pdf's and finance companies etc. Could do better on instructions for each form so you understand what is happening in the background. Also took several tries to get the 8606 filled out correctly, but that is not a common form most people need. We will continue to use for the foreseeable future.

Harder to use and understand this year.

Hated the way it had you review forms several times. All the information was correct, but they kept having you review it. I made a copy and deleted the original and may have ended up deleting the form. I didn't realize this until after I submitted my taxes. It didn't seem user friendly to me this year.
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
