Deluxe 2018 Software

I have used H&R Block for four years. This year I had problems when trying to transmit to IRS&State. I was told my file was ready to transmit, I put the information in for payment, tried to transmit and was told I could not file until an update was done. I did the update & as a result, I have 2 charges for filing the State return, and hope the State was NOT filed twice! A bit of a glitch, very frustrating and should be looked into.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Less expensive, but just as good as the others. You need to include a free state e-file to make it great!

Useful but not much help.

The help files for the product and especially the states are very lacking. One of the helps for MI form 4884 was actually wrong. It should have been calculated for eligibility by the program but left it up to the taxpayer and then gave the wrong advice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The H&R block software is easy to use. It has been my accountant for the past decade, even for the three years I had an S-corp.

Read the fine print before you do your returns. The State return, while included in the software, is NOT free to file!
Pros: Fast
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to manuever

Found some areas difficult to maneuver through and when I had two review notifications it was difficult to locate how to fix.
