I bought this program for years and was very happy with it until this year when my computer program can't save my returns on a PDF file nor can it print them!!!
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Disappointing!

I have used H&R Block tax programs for years, but this year it was basically useless. It would not import my banking information and that is the primary reason I use the software.

I tried on-line taxprep with two systems and was trubled by AI that kept suggestng item not of my interest. i finnally lost all my data entry efforts by making a wrnd choice. I really prefer downloading the app to my computer and taking control of what i want to see. Online prep is not a good way to go for me.

Cons: Time consuming

Inferior to TurboTax

I got this since TurboTax no longer works with my iMac (older version). This H&R Block software is clumsy, the interchange format belongs to a decade earlier, Forms are difficult to find, the search option does not take you to the exact text you are searching for on a form, Errors are not correctly pinpointed (took an hour to 'fix' my 1099-R, despite all data being correct).
If I can revert to Turbotax next year, I will. Much improvement needed.
