Easy to use, but the software needs improvement

I was easily able to import all my stock sales. One of the income sections asked me to enter interest items from a 1099-INT. Somehow, an item was entered twice. The pre-submittal check failed to catch this, so I will now need to file an amended return, which makes me wonder what else I might have messed up. It’s easy to say this is my fault—and it is. But I re-opened the program and went back to the income section and saw the red exclamation point next to the second interest item, indicating it had not been reviewed. Why did the software allow me to submit the return with an unreviewed, duplicated entry?
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This program is very, very, confusing. I would not recommend it !!!!

Loved being able to import investment & IRA data from brokerage firm. Quick & easy for what could have been real complicated.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I had a problem with the activation code. I seems that who ever Best Buy use for a download version did not include the activation code. I had to contact H&R Block to get a code.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Makes Taxes Very Easy Even For the Novice

I use H&R Block every year. I download my info from last year and import my financial data. That way my return is half done before I start. What I like about H&R Block is that they tell the truth. Some other companies change their product without telling you and then you must pay more to upgrade your software. OR they tell you it is free when it is not! Block has earned my business and I will continue to use their excellant product.

I have used H&R Block Tax Filing Software for several years and never had an ounce of trouble. I've received a refund every time as well. I'd heartily recommend this tax software to anyone for fast, accurate and uncomplicated filing to the IRS.
