Worst experience in awhile... after I bought it I realized I meant to go turbotax. Much smoother experience.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had finished my taxes 4 days prior to your last program update. I opened my return for one last review prior to submitting. Might as well update before I do that........Update complete and NO finished tax return!!!

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 23 years. The ease of use with H&B has been outstanding. Sorry I didn't use your software sooner. The format was much easier to read through.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

The software worked as expected and it walked me through the process of doing my federal and state taxes. I had one annoyance: because I am 65 it assumed I was receiving Social Security, but I am NOT. It would not accept that I am not and kept trying to get me fill out a worksheet so I could pay my taxes on the Social Security I am not receiving. There should be a simple opt out button for that so those of us not receiving Social Security don't have to go through this. It was annoying and stressful.

Cons: Time consuming

I have two comments. Not everyone is required to take minimum distribution otherwise known as RMD. The software does not make the choice clear if you do not have to take the minimum. The second comment is that the IRS requested by letter for more information to identify who I am. I have filed for several years the same way with the same Software. I found this strange, but can only guess that because I changed my pin they thought that was unusual and wanted to double check.
I would recommend this to a friend!
