the user interface acted very oddly. “accuracy review” is unusable when the item is a checkbox. cannot tell what item is the issue.
when tentative items are checkboxes its impossible to tell.
on navigation the boxes were flashing when each page loaded.
the NEC form part was confusing it kept showing and counting them twice.
in one case it confused my dependents. it copied the name of one dependent to the other.

I have used this for several years. This year, though, it miscalculated my Missouri state tax and the state caught the mistake and issued a refund for only about half of what H&R's estimate was. Other than that, I am happy with the product.

Tried this since turbo tax won't work with older versions of windows. Fairly easy to use, importing worked fair, some exceptions were filling in the red marked boxes that the program highlighted during the checks...no idea what input/amount the red boxes were needing since there was no context provided. Wish this supported Linux, since so many of us are dumping windows for good.

I have used this software before, which makes it easier to use for me. I can import the previous year’s information, and go from there. It’s pretty slick, especially for the federal tax return because it updates to make sure you know about any changes. You can call up or print out any form as well. I was pretty nervous the first time I used efile, but now I use it every time - so quick and easy!
