I don't know why I keep using it

1, you can't ebmnter data on s form and it does not tell you where to go for the input.
2.the RI form 2210, penalty for withholding, has a complicated chart the they make you do by hand. This is roughly the same as the federal form, and has not changed for years, and they make you follow the complicated instructions to fill in all the numbers. The tax software should do this for you Doing it be hand is extremely tedious and it is easy to make a mistake or misunderstand the instructions. The table has not changed in over 10 years. Is there just not enough demand for Form 1210 in RI?
3 And my final gripe. They tell you they will guide you to where to go to submit a credit card payment, and instead of just sending you to the link, they mahe you print out the instructions, on papar, and them enter the URL by hand. And if tou find have a printer handy tou are on your own. They don't even let you print a digital copy of the checklist.
4. A few years back I had to send in an error report when I discovered the were greatly overestimating my alternate minimum tax. It is a good thing I checked the data.

This is all very frustrating. Yet I buy the package every year.
I few years back, when I filed my state tax, I discovered they neglected to send form 2219 to the state because it came up with 0 penalty. Without form 2210, the state calculated ted that I owed a penalty and I got a bill for it until I figured out that Block had not included the form which justified the 0 penalty. This is the same form Block makes toy fill in by hand.
Basically, if you have any more than a basic tax calculation, you have to be an expert to use their software.
And one more issue. They even make this feedback form hard to use.

Fairly good but menu structure and definitions could be clearer and more closely follow nomenclature of the forms. Found what may be a serious bug in Medicare taxable wages when the value in the box in front concatenated on the tail end and ended up with a value of over 350k instead of ~ 3200. The tax ended with 4400 reduced to ~1400 after verification corrections. Should had been instantly flagged. Need far less pop ups, this is a purchased software.
