I've used this software for over 15 years, I love it. Never had any problems preparing my tax returns. Great for investments and home ownership. It makes preparing your tax returns quick and fast. Fed imports to state and you can import previous years returns to speed up preparing your current year returns.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Attempted to claim energy efficient tax credit. Programming poor and resulted in rejection of return. “Help” (both AI and help button) was COMPLETELY worthless. Said “I can’t help you with that.” Unquote.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I’ve used HR Block for 10+ years and it has always been so easy and accurate ( important to me because of my advanced age - 78 ) primarily because I was able to import the old as well as the new info. This year I was able to import the old info but after numerous trys (4-5) of importing the current info, I gave up and put the info in manually. Not certain about my accuracy I drove to South Texas ( I live near Tulsa Oklahoma) to have my son review the return It was difficult this year and I’m in hopes that filing my 2026 taxes will be easier.
Cons: Hard to import documents
