The software is reasonably easy to use, but it was unable to e-file my state return electronically. My federal return was initially rejected for a simple typo, but once corrected, the federal return was accepted an e-file. However, the software was unable to e-file my state return because it was still linked to the original federal return. The system is flawed as the only solution was to paper file my return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

Purchased early online.There where the dig gets personal.Purchase price was offered less expensive later in the filing season Lesson learned don't purchase early be patient and take advantage of the saving.Not how you treat loyal customers ie repeat customers.

Great for most part, but not perfect

Worked fine. But forced me to enter SSA info when I did not receive SSA-1099 from SSA and it automatically checking Social Security withdrawal button when I did not click on it. Deleting worksheet form does not really delete the form. So, I feel there is a glitch in the user interface design. I tried multiple times and wasted my time.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a quality software product, that I've been using for years. This year I had a serious computer malfunction just as I was about to file. I was able to easily download the program to a second computer (no extra charge) and since I use cloud storage, I could access my stored filing information with very little effort. Thanks for making that so easy. My only disappointment is that you still don't handle partnership taxation all that well. Maybe next year.

The ability to pull in prior years data and to download financial statements is another great touch. I’ll likely be a repeat customer - for my 11-12th year- for ‘26

Will not use this software again. No import from Merrill Lynch, state software does,not work without calling to obtain the download when it is supposed to be included and no year by year comparison.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
