H&R Block software has been helping me file my taxes and save time and money for over a decade. It is very easy to use and questions are very easy to understand. While it integrates with lots of financial institutions, I would like it to be able to download 1099s(INT, DIV, OID) from smaller banks, credit unions and brokerage firms. Price for downloading additional states should be made reasonable for people who have to file multiple state tax returns due to nature of work now-a-days.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

My return was rejected due to a software error which caused the wrong checkbox to be selected. Which box was to be checked was a simple question of is A>B.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I am meticulous with updates and this year was no exception. I was ready to finish my return and submit to IRS and state. Program requested fee for state return submission then after it was entered the program requested that I update again? I updated without any transmission of returns only to return to the payment request screen for a second time - I had to pay again in order to transmit my returns. Big hassle.
