Absolute crap. Gets worse every year. Mailing instructions tell me to print forms with no information entered into them, and help topics are pointless.

I have been using H&R Block for twenty years and I will never use it again. I had to wait a whole month for forms to be updated so I could e-file. It is very poor dealing with income reported on a K-1 form for a S Corporation. It gave warnings that its calculations were probably not correct and then said to make changes directly without telling me how to do that. It has no improvement in user interface in all those years.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software is decent, not all States can you e-file

The software is pretty good. You can ask questions through their AI, but sometimes AI does not know the answer. Some od the questions in the software require extra research and it took me a while to figure it out. I was able to e-file federal and a State, but the other State the software said e-file was not available, even though i waa willing to pay. That was disappointing. So i had to mail in one State. The other two I was able to e-file. The softeare is pretty good.

I have been using H&R Block software since 2017.
It is so user friendly thatv promote it to people that still pay tax preparers because they are to scared to take a leap of faith and trust the software. Once you try it you will kick yourself for not trying it sooner. I LOVE IT. the software gets me too dollar on my returns

I got a discount for Delux 2025 Spftware, but would have been ok with the Basic 2025 Software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
