The software worked mostly fine but had significant glitches: for 1099-Rs it messed up the amounts and payers mixing among recently added entries. The updates providing carryover of losses for Schedule K-1’s was way too late almost close to filing deadline. There were needless data verification alerts in accuracy checks
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

My tax situation was a bit more complicated this year and I did not find the H&R software as helpful as I would have liked. The explanations were often very confusing. The writing could be so much better than it is. Also, moving back and forth through the program was clunky. I would only recommend this software if your taxes are very simple and straightforward.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printouts missing information to submit. Was told to supplement my own documentation as the program had the information entered, but was not printing out. It was not a printer issue, but a defect. I was told to call the IRS to be able to know if the program had e-filed correctly even though it was "accepted." Zero confidence in this software at this point.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
