I've been trying to file my taxes since early February. This is my first year of RMD and the interview process as it existed in February wasn't useable. Local office said they didn't understand why I was even where I was in the process vs. their "process" in the office. I've talked to about 8 different Tier One, Two persons. my case was sent to Tier 3 when the March 13th update caused the program to not be able to read my return any more. The 27th update fixed that. I've heard from no one since I first started calling in early March. I've used "tax cut" since 1990. Had but three problems with the software, the second was about paying off my mortgage points early, resolving all the points not carried forward. Software could not handle that. The final interview process regarding RMD conflicts with what Section 9 on form 5329 says. I have nothing but two qualified RMDs, entered them together on one screen and then again on what was actually disbursed. That cancels out which is the same thing as not filling out form 5329. The blocks filled in there I don't understand but I know the interview is trying to determine if there is a penalty or not. That confused the local H&R Block office folks too. The software has been a great benefit to me over the decades but this year was a terrible experience working my way through 8 different persons, most of whom could not help me or call me back. And I just went ahead and filled when the software stopped preventing me from reading what it had saved and both my Tier 2 and 3 cases are still open. A terrible year

I paid for what I thought was fed plus state, then got charged for state. You're a fool to use this software.

The product does work well. I used the software last year and thought it was good. I used the other major brand for years until they gave me a fit logging in. I noticed the software took inputs in a different order than last year and seemed to (in my opinion) jump around. The only thing I didn't like was the small print. I kept trying to blow up the print size to make it easier to see. I am well over seventy.

finally did my taxes, but after sending them in electronically, it didn't go so well. First the Federal wasn't accepted due to an error with the AGI not coming over from my last years taxes. I had to override that then it took.

Long term customer and happy with the program for the most part. Still having issues with it downloading and installing the software and updates. Have to use a seperate profile. Also feel that when I purchase a state return that it should come with a free filing.
