I bought the internet version and could not complete. Call local office and they took care of my taxes that day. Very satisfied with results except the added protection which will not let me in to system after informing that i might have a problem on dark web ?
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Made me buy State program again, support is bad

Had bought Deluxe + State. However program kept asking me to buy State again. The phone number for support is useless and chat support was not able to resolve even after 45 mins
Pros: Easy to prepare

I switched from Turbo Tax to H&R Block as the software supports Windows 10. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is straightforward with simple communications and menu. I will not be going back to T/Tax.

Easy to use, accurate, nice refund to balance out state payment, reasonable costs for software, so much better than doing it by hand, Accurate, Great UI.

Nice interface except these two items

Mostly this was easy to follow through the interview except the 'back' button did not return to the previous screen and was hard to understand where it was taking one back to. And the forms for next year's estimated IRS taxes was incredibly difficult to find (AI no help) and was only found after printing out the entire 2025 return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

I've used H&R Block tax software for the past 4 years. It has always been easy, quick, and smart enouth to keep me from making a mistake. I file electronically and get my return within a few days and I save $$ by doing my taxes myself.
