Quick and easy preparation with helpful guidance

H&R Deluxe made my tax preparation very easy. It imported my data from last year's tax form and remembered my income sources from last year. The questions about itemizing versus standard deduction only lasted until it determined I didn't have enough itemized deductions and then immediately switched to the standard deduction.

Good software, but fed. stuck processing = concern

Was easy to fill out, but for some reason my federal return is not being or is just stuck in processing for weeks. State processed completely within days. E-filled both at the same time. I'm concerned.

Used HR Block for many years. Tax Cut Deluxe 2025 worst program i ever used. Print engine failed and never recovered. Other functions were clunky or obscure. Looking for a new tax partner for 2026.
Cons: Time consuming
