I used HR Block software for many years. But this year I was very disappointed. The updates on a particular form were so late that my filing was delayed more than 1 month. Now my submission has been in process for another month. Not happy.
Cons: Time consuming

Great program been using for years. My one issue is I clearly stated I want 2025 refund via check but still get letter from irs saying couldn’t complete direct deposit, scan QR code to enter direct deposit info. Maybe not HRblock program problem but if irs doesn’t want to use paper checks it shouldn’t be an option. It opens up door to fraud and no I did not follow QR code because I didnt trust the letter because I always receive refund by check.

Great software

I had been doing my taxes for the last 15 years or so without software. This year I decided to use a tax software and went to purchase it at 7 p.m. We were home by 8:30 and taxes were done by 10:30. The speed and ease of using the software is worth the price alone.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
