I am usually quite satisfied with the software. However, this year was a disappointment. The software said it could not deal with QBI loss carryforard. It kept saying that a future release would resolve this. So, I waited until the 27th with no resolution. I finally filed by paper. Next year I'll look at TurboTax.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the fifth year that the H & R Block software has helped me through the nauseating Federal Tax Return process. Very good tool, fairly straight forward guidance and mostly trouble free procedures. Paperless online tax return is a plus. Good explanations of the bizarre IRS terminology and rules. Will continue to use their service in the future.

Cons: Time consuming

Have used your product for at least the last ten years; quality gets a little worse every year. It has become virtually impossible to visualize how the various Forts and parts fit together. Things like continuing to send a Federal retiree back to answer why no Social Security is just poor programming and lousy quality control (federal retirees do not draw Social Security, we are on a Civil Service pension - fully taxable BTW).
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

didn't like it this year , harder to use and the pop up help was useless , seems like while using you program you would be able to see what I was having trouble with and help ! think I'm going to a different tax program next year. It kept taking me back to a line in the return that had nothing to do with my return this year ( when reviewing for any problems) fruststraighting
