I've been using H&R for decades. Easy to use and thorough...never had a problem with any return. My only observation is that the 2025 version seems to take forever to open up. Other than that, it is spot on, as always!

There is a problem with the w2’s. I don’t use the state forms but at the review level it wants the state, and amounts on and on. Have to return to the w2’s and clear all state information from the w2. Although the w2 may display some state siu withholding. This has happened for the last several years. I file 3-4 each year. Problem keeps repeating

Overall, it's a great program.
One improvement I would make is the ability (for example) the 2025 application to read a 2024 (and maybe prior years) file. The 2025 applicaton used the wrong AGI in its submission to the IRS and I had to re-install the 2024 app to read my 2024 data file to get the correct AGI for re-submission of the 2025 package.
Fortunately my server backed up the 2024 install .EXE file and I could do that.

Walks you through the entire process but may need to read some of the IRS documents to get detailed information. Have to go to the IRS website to download. Also has some audit support but have not used that at this point. Not sure how good that is but may give some piece of mind.
