I wish you had a simple version that included state. I don't need Deluxe, I only got income. No credits, no deductions, no adjustments, no S corporations, nothing, just income. It's a pain going through hundreds of extra pages I don't need!

I have bought H&R Block Deluxe software for the last ten years and I am very dissapointed with the support. I could not get a holds of a live person to answer my questions. You need to make it much easier to actually talk to somone. AI does not cut it. I have used this software and have had good success but not this time.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With the introduction of Microsoft Windows 11, Turbo Tax was no longer available to Windows 10 users. I purchased H&R Block software with the understanding that Federal and State returns could be electronically filed as Turbo Tax offers. Turns out, Federal returns can be e-filed but State returns had to be paper filed.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

This is the 33rd year I have been using the HRBlock Tax Program. My return is pretty simple.
However, there are many references to different sources of income, different 1099 forms,
different deductions, etc. that I know nothing about. It would be really nice to have some
references (small i) as to what they are. I bypass most of those screens, but I may also be missing
items that could apply to me now, or in the future. I know the IRS code is so expansive and complex,
but the additional info could be very helpful. Thank you.
