I have used HRBlock and the other big name several yeasrs each. i found HRBlock a little easier to use. specifically the auto fill from previous year was more accurate as well as a few little preferences. I WOULD like some sort of discount for returning year after year. The software and E-filing is getting expensive.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

1.When downloading tax info from Charles Schwab other people's tax info flows on to your return if your ss# is in their account info as trustee, adviser etc.
2. Efile was very difficult because H&R final update would not complete. Several hours spent trying solutions: turning off firewall, rebooting, changing access code, etc. Frustrating message repeated that there was no internet connection. Finally (with no internet?) was able to manually retrieve the update and merge it with the Deluxe tax program
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This sotfware is easy of used. Try using the CD before and it failed. yes had CD work before but this is the first time it didn't work. I had to used a digital one and will do again for now on. a good think to say is "Time is money and more time you wait you start to loosing money."
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
