I have used H&R Block software for about 10 years. 1 year I compared with going to a tax professional, the only difference was the tax professional was more expensive than the software.

What I like (and don't like) about this version

More affordable than Quicken, less spam ads in my inbox, and each year it improves so that I get more accurate audits and recommendations. Plus I can share my returns with my attorney who uses the same software to do his taxes.
I wish there was a version that I could buy that includes the fee for e-filing my State returns, because having to pay that separately is a little inconvenient.

Overall, very good, and very easy to use. I gave it a 5-star rating, but there were some small glitches in the state version (MA) which caused me to waste some time figuring out how to enter some investment income without using overrides (which would have prevented e-filing).
