Good experience but too high cost to efile state

Interview process for fed and state went well as did direct interaction with forms. Help seemed a little better this year. Inconsistent ability to find out where numbers came from and ridiculously high cost to electronically file for state, so I didn't.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The software is easy to use and guides the user through the entire process. If you have all your tax documents ready, it only takes about an hour, or less, to complete both Fed and State.

I like the H&R Block software in that I've used it for years, and I'm used to the interface. The drawbacks include price and the requirement to pay more if I have any tax questions. I would suggest allowing one or two interactions with a tax expert to be included in the price of the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The software is easy to use and takes care of complex situations. This time I tried importing from TdAmeritrade. It worked fine and saved me a lot of time. The review of the entries found a few missing items. Quickly I was able to efile and had acceptance by the IRS in a few hours!
