This is a great program, the only thing I didn’t like was not being able to get a straight forward answer to a question. And I got the run around from the AI on chat saying they couldn’t answer that question and never could get an answer. Ended up calling the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

From a long-time user: A major problem this year was that the program did not support the download of forms 1099 from Merrill Lynch. This issue absolutely needed to be fixed and was not.

I have used this product for years and mostly it has gotten me through tax time pretty well. However, since the 24/7 help has gone AI, it is not so helpful when I need help or clarification.
This year (2025 tax year) I was not informed that SC had not approved compliance with Federal OBBB provisions. So I filed SC anyway not knowing. Now SC has asked for copies of all 1099's and delayed my refund for weeks.
