I have used H&R Block tax software for several years and have been completely satisfied. Copying previous year data saves time. Also like the ability to download much of our financial forms from the major investment firms. My only complaint, which may also be the case with other tax software, is the charge to electronically submit our state return.

This is my second year using Block. With the tax law changes, and my situation, it's clear that standard deduction is pretty good for most middle class people. I was surprised that I qualified for some state law queens that got me a refund, when I usually expect to pay a small amount
