Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I was disappointed with the software this year for two reasons. On one of my family's returns, the software crashed every time one option was chosen. Luckily, that option was not a big deal. On the other family member's return, the software did not bring up a needed form (although the screen suggested the form might be needed). We followed the steps as indicated in the software and submitted the return. That return was rejected because of the missing form! Revising the return to re-submit was challenging too because I had to "find" the form in the software since it doesn't come up automatically. Please improve these issues!
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use this every year, and will continue to do so. This year a slight issue with my updates and transmittal requiring my to do a clean reboot before it would connect. But that was more my security system than this product.

The software seems even better than for 2024 taxes.
***One thing it took me a while to solve was the software update. If you don't download the latest updates you cannot go very far in completing the return. It would not down load until I finally shut my MAC down and turned it back on. When I again tried to download the updates it finally worked! This might be an instructional update for folks who are having trouble getting new software updates.
