The only problem I have had is with the AR state tax. 1099r for military retire people. The AR state program wants to put the 1099r amount in "taxable government pension" wants to show up in the total pensions. Military Retirement pay is not taxed in AR so I have to override the worksheet.. You program should have a box to check on the 1099r for Military retires so the retired pay shows up in Military Retirement box and not in the Taxable government pension part in the work sheet.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I buy this software just to do my aged mother-in-law’s taxes. For years I used it for all my needs but my personal taxes have gotten too complicated for me to understand. Every year taxes get more complicated but H&R Block’s software keeps it as clear as it can be.

After using it 16 years in a row without any problem but this year a total disaster. I had to buy it 3 times and still unable to get it to work on three different computers. I will have a hard time buying Taxcut next year !!!!!
