Following the interview process via software was almost like a discussion with my tax preparer. The only differences were the preparer offered a little more explanation and guidance about the financial terminology for which I paid 6 times as much as taking a chance and doing it myself on my own computer.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I appreciate the error checking for minor details like the addresses of payees. Puts the mind to rest that all is well with the federal and state tax returrns.

I'm old. Most technology is just solutions looking for a problem. Did taxes for years with pencil and paper. HRB software however is time saving, accurate, thorough and easy to use. Used for a couple of years now and sold. Well worth the price.
