I am 82 years old. My taxes are not exceptionally difficult but investments do create some significant challenges. HR Block’s software helps me to navigate these challenges as if I were a young accountant. The 1099-B form provided by my investment broker posed some problems but I was able to complete it with minimal problems. I have recommended HR Block software to several friends and family members. I likewise recommend it to others with the same confidence

This product is missing three features that are sorely needed. 1) a "search within form" reason: many forms are so long that it takes a fair amount of time to find an item. 2) an "import csv to 'itemized list'" reason: Why do I need to re-enter stuff that I already have? 3) Allow "copy and paste" from anything. There are so many things that I can not "copy", on example: the entries in "compare last year with this year"

Got everything ready, started the return, waited for a K-1 and then off to the Sate return.

Does not automate handling of Trust QBI, then will not submit electronically when forced manual edits are made. I understand the former as tax area is not something with wide usage, but the later is objectionable.
Final review indicates problems but inadequate guidance to resolve. Just showed the entire 1040 and said answer the question, but no highlighting of problem area or other guidance.
Other numerous quibbles I'd be glad to share but no place to feedback except this review.
