It appeared to work well. I removed a star in my rating, because the update routine changed from past years, and the change wasn't for the better. Now you have to download the update and execute it, and you don't receive any indication that the update was successful. In the past, it all worked perfectly with one click.

Worked well once all the updates loaded...I was frustrated by the sluggy behavior of the program beginning just after release. It seemed to work well only after I received all the program updates. If the developers knew this would be a problem they should have waited for a more stable version. To be fair I assume the constant chaos from the White house regarding taxation might have been part of the problem.
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Been using this software for years and it’s usually been great. This year, not so much.
It totally failed this year on the issue of no taxes on tips. Specifically on tips that were already taxed as part of your general income. There was no way to claim a deduction if this was the case for you. I wound up having to use a free tax software to do my daughter’s taxes. They somehow figured this issue out while HR Block didn’t.
