I've used HR Block Deluxe Plus State for several years without difficulties. This year I had difficulties adding data from a form that listed capital gains for sale of stocks. The form provided by Fidelity was not in synch with requested data by the HR Block software. It took me a great deal of time to enter the data. I was very unhappy with that. Otherwise all went well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

IT IS EASY TO USE BUT I THINK THE WAY TO START UP THE APPLICATION NEEDS TO BE MORE SIMPLE AND LESS TIME CONSUMING.

Software has an error which support didn’t fix

I’ve used this software for years and this is the first time I have had a problem. Software produced a correct return, but saved return could not be reopened after closing the software. Took me many hours to find the exact reason for the problem to tell support, but they were not interested and actually cut my call.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

2025 software is full of flaws. No QCD support. Put IRA distributions on wrong line.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
