couple of issues, 1) I need to fill out w-4 for retirement income, the program did not seem to support it. 2) I had a solar credit carried forward, there is no sheet showing forward balances to keep with my return. 3) I paid to have my state return electrically filed, it did not add this to the cost of the software for tax preparation expense on federal form.
Pros: Easy to prepare

This is my second year using HR Block Software. The software is well suited for reporting dividends by having the user fill in every block of the 1099 into the software. Calculations are automatic. This is superior to TT!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs work filing electronically.

Found the software not user friendly when filing federal taxes with standard deductions. Program did not allow you to file electronically if you have previously filed on paper. Would not recommend this software if you wanted 100% assurance that you could file electronically. Used for 8 years and have never been able to file electronically. Moving on!
