I needed you to use form 5389 and your software was never updated to be able to send the form I have used your service for over 10 years and I don’t know that I’ll purchase it again next year because of the issue

I have been using H&R Block for many years. It's very easy to use if your taxes are fairly straightforward. My only complaint, which I have been making for YEARS, is that you have to pay to file your state taxes electronically. Instead of five free Federal filings, provide at least one free state filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed in HR Block Deluxe for Tax Year 2025

I could not upload my 1099 composite from Merrill and to manually load it., In prior years I was able to upload from Merrill. Called support which advised I should load it manually...manually loading is painful. Also, the program could not handle a premium amortization and accrued amortization adjustments to a 1099-INT from my broker from the interview process.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
