I switched from another brand this year, so its not surprising that I had trouble adapting to this new software. That being said, H&R instructions seem to be incomplete and confusing in some cases, especially because it seems to ask me questions that it already known the answers to. It also seems to have hidden two of the most important pieces of information which help you understand why your taxes are so high. Its true that the calculation for the actual Federal taxes doesn't need to be filed, but why hide it? I finally found the two necessary pages on the IRS website, and made the calculations myself for my benefit. They provide "mini-worksheets" for almost all of the places where calculations are done, so why leave out the most important one?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I appreciate that you still had a product that worked in Windows 10. Honestly I have been using TurboTax for years, but I found that they didn’t work in Windows 10 this year. Since I didn’t want to buy a new computer just yet just to do the taxes I chose to use your software for the first time. I was generally pleased but did find that it wasn’t quite as intuitive as my past experiences with TurboTax. All things eventually worked out fine and I appreciate what you have done.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Lost a star this year as my “saved to print” return (PDF995) didn’t include the recommended to “file by mail” forms.
It also can’t import my JPM documents which is a
shocker. Fix that!
