It does the job but could be much more user friendly. It's not easy to see exactly how tax is calculated. I was not able to efile a decedent's final return because it got stuck in a loop asking for form 1310, which was not required in my situation. Annualizing income for form 2210, schedule AI was a pain.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Used for years without a lot of problems. Wish it was still available on a disc rather than a download. Wish it still had capability to have your return file password protected. If the feature is still there I have not been able to access it yet.

Even after being warned that my Big Sur iMac is out of date for the software, it works perfectly well. No State income tax in my state but plenty of imported data to double check. I'm able to easily compare my deductions with the standard and navigate the program easily. Recommended.
