As of late March, there is still no version available to actually file my return. There are errors in the review part of the program that give nonsense feedback. The stock sale form doesn't check for reasonableness on purchase/sale dates. Several sections provide no question/answer input; just bring up the form. For some unknown reason, there are forms presented which aren't needed and can't be bypassed. I have used this program for years and have never seen such a pathetic version.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Product Still Meets My Needs

I started using this product when it was called TaxCut. I had been using TaxCut for several years before the name was changed to H&R Block at Home. After the name was changed to H&R Block at Home, I still continued to use it. I think that it gets better each year. It is simple to use, easy to follow, it works well, and it meets my needs. Now, I usually purchase the H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State version. I would recommend it to others.
