Will switch to Turbo next year. H&R had data import issues this year, including last year's data and current consolidated documents. Manyal entry required. Also unable to handle several K-1 entries.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Double charged for submitting state return

When i filed my federal and state returns together, the program-after processing the charge to sumit the state return TOOK THAT OPPORTUNITY to decide it needed to update the federal return software BEFORE processing my filing. When the program restarted, I had to go through the filing process from the beginning, including being charged AGAIN to file my state claim. I would like a refund of that duplicate charge, but the is no apparent way to seek this within the program.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I've been using the software for quite a few years. H&R Block provides the necessary info. and guidance I need to enter my data. I find being able to view the actual tax form another helpful feature when I need more clarification on a topic. This software from the first to the final step of filing the tax forms is outstanding.
