H&R Block continues to make it easy.

I have used this software for many years and have found it easy to use as long as I have kept good records throughout the year. I did have a bit of a problem getting the Form 1116 filled out to claim my Foreign Tax Credit. I finally had to go to the form and fill it out directly. I do not import documents when I complete the returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The software seems to be thorough and work well. I like the interviews and seeing the changes in the refund or amount due as it takes in new information. I dinged it a star because it wants to charge me to file state taxes. Which means I have to go do it myself. I've purchased the software for at least 5 years. I like how it imports last years information and thats why I continue to use it, but, I'm over the state tax filing extra charge dance every year

Very easy to use. It takes you through all the various screens: enter information on the screens that pertain to use and ignore the others. When finished, you can send it directly to the IRS. Within 24 hours, you will know if the return was accepted or not.

Good software but I was charged an extra 9.95 for online filing even though I had a code that was emailed to me when I bought the software online. HR does not police how its secondary sellers are operating. Ever $ counts - next year I'll use turbo.
