Overall, an easy and productive experience. A few interview spots a little less clear than others requiring further investigation.
Particularly like that I don't have to put all my monetary and personal information at a data accumulation site for hackers to gather millions of user's data. I know it hasn't happened... yet. My ID has been stolen 5 times already and leaked to hackers as many times by online apps. Doing my best to avoid disaster.

I filed my federal return and it was rejected. When I went back into the software it said there was a glitch in the software regarding the recording of foreign tax paid and that it would be fixed by March 13. It said I had to then go into the software and fix things and resubmit. For a national tax preparation software this is totally unacceptable.

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not very helpful for part time state residents

The part time state interviews, Oregon and Missouri, weren't particularly helpful with little explanation of how numbers were calculated. It seemed to assume I knew how the states income tax law operates. Eventually, I figured out the calculations I needed for Oregon, and finally Missouri. The program was little to no help with Missouri. It showed 'reported on Federal return' values, that I had trouble identifying until I typed everything into a spreadsheet trying to recreate those numbers.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought Deluxe plus State for Mac. Program duplicates W-2’s and 1099’s. Have to file an amended federal return due to this. Not a very trustworthy product.
Cons: Hard to prepare
