I bought software online. Activation code did not work. Some forms are not supported. It is under developed for Mac platform.

Works the same as previous years, but this year it gets past entering in my credit card info for the state filing, and the application wand to do a update, which caused me to enter my credit card again, but charged me twice. Would have nice if the program checked for updates before entering my credit card again. The dad is I ran updates the day before:

The only complaint that I have with the download software v the online version is the fact that I have to pay for the download and yet you charge me to file a State return. With the online version both fed and state are free.

I usually used TurboTax for my taxes. However for this year TurboTax requires Windows 11 which I do not have so I decided to try out the HR Block offering. It worked fine on my Windows 10 computer and completed my federal & state forms fairly easily. I expect you will move to Windows 11 functionality which will require I purchase a Windows 11 capable computer.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
