Good as usual but disappointed that you don't support importing tax reporting information from Merrill Lynch as in years past

If you don't have a question, it is great. Fill in the blocks and it does a good job. But if you need help, forget it. My federal return went fine but when I got to the state, I had an error. The instructions said to enter a number (it told me the amount) on form CSA-1099R Block 16 before I could e-file the return. A couple of problems. OPM sent me the CSA-1099R so I shouldn't be able to change it and there is no block 16 on that form (It is kind of like having them say to add information to your W-2). I tried for 10 days to fix the problem. I have started over several times and went back and checked everything more times. So today I decided it was time for help. First, I got a BOT that didn't understand the question. So, after some time, it sent me to a real person. That person asked if I had deleted the return and started over and then logged off. She did come back and apologized.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using it for 4 consecutive years, obviously it is excellent product. However ,I wish it could make it simpler to report backdoor roth conversion, which I did every year.

This could be a bit easier to use. We have used this same software in the past, but it just doesn't seem intuitive on some things. I could not find this software in stores, so I had to purchase this online. I purchase more items online that in stores, but I was a little worried whether I would receive the activation code with my online order, etc.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used H&R Block software for many years, however this year I had to upgrade to Win 11, I had been using Win 7 for the many previous years.
The OS change didn't affect the overall process of completing the forms.

Overall the program was okay, it would have been nice to be able to see a summary view of the forms you had filled out and entered. Some of the instructions/questions were hard to interpret and follow. Some others were vague and needed more clarification. There was a little too much assumption on tax code knowledge and terminology by the user.

Cons: Hard to prepare
