I paid for the state program. But your program would not save my data. I tried several times. Got tired of repeating the data entry. Will not buy state program again.

Overall a good program. I do believe, if you start using the online version, there should be a way to pull that info into the program. Also, buying a program titled Deluxe +State sends the false message that you are paying for both at the same time.

Good and easy to use, if you have no complications

My problem arose when we run 2 home offices, have mortgage interest on each, yet it is not deductible on federal taxes because the standard deduction is more. However, the interest is deductible on state taxes, so it becomes tricky on where, and where not, to enter the information. Learned you enter the 1098 normally, omit listing assigning it to the home office as an expense, it will pass the federal verification check and be passed to the state forms to be included in the state itemized deduction. Everything else was easy to enter, as it has been for years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

way overpriced, Block saw an opportunity to sell what they sold last year for a much higher price and jumped on it. These products should be going down in price each year, not up. The fact is most people don't remember what they paid a year ago for about the same product.
