Been using HR Block (Tax Cut) for over thirty years. Ease of use, accurate and with past year figures brought forward makes for quick completion of FED and state returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The company instituted some sort of security check that made it impossible for members of my family to file our returns from the same pc without calling an 877 number.
Probably trying to force us to do it online for more money.

I’ve been using 2-3 differences computer tax preparer programs almost 20 years. They are all good, but to my likeness, H&R Block have the edge over the other’s.

I have used H & R Block software for 19 years. It guides me through the filing process and I am able to figure out what the software is asking me to do. When I started, I was a heath care contractor, and along with my Disability payments, the software guided me through with ease. Now I am retired, and when I start a new return, the software picks up the data it needs from the previous years returns, and asks for input where need. I don't have to take a chance that a Brick and Mortar person will taking advantage of me, and what you initially pay for is all you pay for. I have heard horror stories, but I can say I have none to report in 19 years. It takes me less than an hours on my computer to the federa land state, and the piece of mind that I am done is great.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this app for years and as a result my taxes are handled consistently through years of changing needs on my part with all past taxes conveniently at hand and the next year pre populated making the effort just completing the new years numbers in forms carried over from last year. It has also kept me aware of how my financial changes are reflected reflected in a tax return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
